Founded in 2007 and the brain child of Jennifer Scroggins-Jackson whose passion is to give back to the Dallas- Fort Worth communities. Co-founders: Alvin J. Jackson, Brian Connelly and Hossein Hosseiny, the AJX Foundation is a non-profit organization whose leaders work with several community and non-profit organizations on campaigns that generate funds for scholarships and community related service programs.
Since 1999, the AJX Foundation has worked toward enriching our communities through several charities and foundations that assist moderate families in nine counties in the Dallas – Fort Worth region. Our Foundation has been by helping programs generate funds for scholarships and community based service programs that positively impact our young men and women to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Through a combination of public and private funds, the Foundation’s mission reflects the life-changing impact in North Texas communities that enables young men & women, their families and communities the opportunity to achieve educational goals through:
- scholarship programs
- workshops for career development, and
- programs that assist in community improvement efforts that will better serve their communities for the next generation.
The AJX Foundation realizes that, while financial assistance is often the breakthrough that our young people need to pursue their dreams, it is only one part of the solution. Our youth need a full range of support that includes mentorship and guidance from people who have gained experience and wisdom in realizing their own careers. Our program therefore includes personal mentorship from a full complement of professionals and service providers.
Further, we understand that the urgency of community based efforts that support and enrich young people and their families. We work to help these efforts through financial contributions and leadership participation.
